About the Role
The role of this position will be within the Low & High record label. The individual will work directly with artists and artists managers to schedule releases, organize content, and act as a liaison in regards to Low & High. This pivotal role will help shape the underground music circuit through identifying artists that deserve recognition.
Goals
1. Work directly with the L&H owner/operator to plan, facilitate, and organize a year of releases (2 singles/eps a month AND 1 mix (BASS LAB mix series)).
2. Organize materials needed to properly market said releases.
Benefits
This position is open to compensation based on experience. Provided that the individual is located within a traveling distance of Minneapolis, they will be guest listed to all Low & High events/experiences (This includes both public and private events that L&H holds). Exclusive L&H merchandise that will not be released to the general public. Experience within a growing business and an opportunity to jumpstart your career in the music industry. If you are in college, we also offer a college credit hour program and can apply hours worked to degree requirements.
Requirements
A passion for the underground music industry.
Effective communication and organization skills.
Experience with g-suite (google docs, google calendar, google sheets, etc.).
Experience with distributing music via soundcloud distribution.
Experience with photoshop / graphic design.
Specifications
No experience is necessary for the right individual, however prior experience is always appreciated. This position will take approximately 3-5 hours per week depending on your workflow and communication skills. All meetings can be done virtually if you are not in close proximity to Minneapolis. Experience with photoshop / graphic design is greatly appreciated and will open opportunities for further compensation. It is recommended that the individual applying for this position has a passion for the music, culture & art that Low & High represents itself with.
